For the past 13 years, I have been involved with a non-profit organization called Hope for Haiti’s Children (HFHC). I have volunteered with this organization previously to travel to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and lead medical mission trips. It is always a rewarding experience to provide free medical care to the students of HFHC, and their families.
School is about to start next month in Haiti. Unfortunately, children in Haiti are unable to attend school for free. Most families cannot afford to send their children to school. Luckily, HFHC sponsors 300+ students to obtain a free education each year.
I am currently sponsoring a 6 year-old Haitian child named Carlos. By paying $350/year, I am able to help Carlos obtain a free education, two meals each day at school, uniforms, and healthcare.
Please read more at www.Hope4HaitisChildren.com to find out how you can sponsor a child and send them to school for the year. I am aware that everyone’s financial situation is different, so if all you can afford is to donate $10, it will go a long way to continue to provide services to the 300+ students that HFHC sponsors.
